Project 365: In like a lion, out like a lamb

This week started off rough, lots of rain for the first half with a doozy of a thunderstorm on Sunday - the kind that had thunder which makes you jump and hit your head on the ceiling and unfortunately the kind that makes your youngest child and both dogs super scared.  But towards the end of the week it improved with Saturday being in the low 70's and sunny - a perfect day to spend an afternoon in Boston.

Sunday - My youngest and the two pups supporting each other in the storm.

Monday - Took a drive to Phillips Academy in town and tried some out of focus photography.  The raindrop effect on my car window reminds me of a watercolor that got caught in the rain.

Tuesday - Uninspired day 3 of rain this week.  Took a walk around my yard and I loved the tones of this plant in the pot.

Wednesday - My oldest had a band concert so I picked up some Italian pastries for a treat.

Thursday - The previous night's photo of my son the bassoonist, he couldn't hide in the back this time :).

Friday - I ended up doing two this day.  First was our cat enjoying an open window with one of our Airedales behind.  The windows are rarely open so they both enjoyed this olfactory treat.  It was also my husband's birthday and we made him his favorite - Lemon Meringue Pie.

Saturday - Beautiful day in Boston and we came across this lovely playground at the Fens.  The kids had a blast on this spiral which you could stand inside and spin super fast.

Have a great week!
