There's so much happening before your session - location decisions, outfit consultations, etc. - and then the session itself. But for me, the process doesn't stop there, it's only just begun! I thought it might be helpful to share what happens after your session, when I take your gorgeous images and add a dose of my artistic vision to each one....

Winter is my favorite season next to fall and for photography buffs (phone or DSLR, you know who you are!) it doesn't have to mean you have to take a break until spring. It does mean you have to get creative some times though! Like this morning, while it would have been lovely to get out there for a walk, the 8 degree temps definitely had me cozied...

Anyone who knows this child knows she smiles... a lot. And when you see her smile, you cannot help but smile also. I wanted to start off with some basic portraits that would showcase her beautiful red locks and freckles with that smile and then we roamed around looking for something different to do.
